Hibiki Shinpachi is one of the main characters of Shinsengumi Mew Mews. She's the ancestor is Nagakura Shinpachi, the Captain of the Second Unit of the Shinsengumi. She infused with the D.N.A of the Spectacled Cormorant.

Backstory[]

Born the ancestor of Nagakura Shinpachi, mean she has Shinpachi blood running through her. Always been fascinated by her history and swords her entire life, but others though she was just plain weird about it.

Personality[]

Hibiki is a rather sweet and nice, kind girl. She is easily embarrassed. Hibiki honors her ancestor Nagakura Shinpachi a lot and is even careful and takes good cares of the sword he once owned. She hates sweets and is more into sour foods or even spicy foods.

Saturn: In Roman mythology, Saturn is the god of agriculture.

Nagakura Shinpachi: Nagakura Shinpachi was the captain of the 2nd troop of the Shinsengumi. Nagakura Shinpachi Noriyuki, known as Eikichi or Eiji during his childhood, was born in the Matsumae clan's "kami-yashiki" in Edo on the 11th day of the fourth month of Tenpō 10 His father, Nagakura Kanji, was a retainer of the Matsumae clan, with a 150 koku stipend. Like Okita Sōji, Nagakura was a true product of the Edo period—being a son of a retainer, who had lived in Edo his entire life.

The Spectacles Cormorant is an extinct marine bird of the cormorant family of seabirds that inhabited Bering Island and possibly other places in the Komandorski Islands and the nearby coast of Kamchatka in the far northeast of Russia.
